What ScrollConnect gives your club
Most campus events run on a poster, a WhatsApp forward and a Google Form. That works right up until you need to take money, prove who turned up, or show a sponsor what happened. This is what you get instead.
People outside your college can find it
Your event goes into the campus feed alongside everything else happening across colleges and campuses nationwide, and gets a public event page that search engines index. Students who have never heard of your club can land on it, read the details and register without joining any group.
Your club also gets a permanent public page listing everything it has ever hosted. This is useful when the committee changes hands and the new team needs to show a track record.
Registrations that arrive structured
- Every registrant already has a verified profile (real name, institute, department, contact) so you are not chasing people for details they typed wrong.
- Add your own questions to the registration form, in whatever field types you need, required or optional.
- Ask for a document, such as a college ID, when eligibility matters.
- Team events collect the whole team under one entry with a minimum and maximum size you set.
- Turn on approval and nobody is confirmed until you have looked at them.
Money, without your club opening a gateway account
Paid tickets are collected through Cashfree, an RBI-regulated payment gateway, using our merchant account. Your club never touches card or UPI credentials and never has to sign up with a gateway. The platform fee sits on top of the ticket price and is paid by the buyer, so the number you set as the ticket price is the number your club is owed. See Payments and payouts.
A door that actually works
Every confirmed registration carries a QR ticket. On the day, a coordinator opens the check-in scanner on their phone and scans people in: no printed list, no duplicate entries, and an attendance record that exists afterwards. Multi-stage events such as hackathons can track attendance separately for each round.
Certificates people can actually prove
Design the certificate in the in-app builder, then generate it for your participants in bulk and email it out. Each certificate is hashed, and the hash is anchored on the Polygon blockchain, so anyone (such as a recruiter, another college, or a scholarship committee) can verify that it is genuine and unmodified, years later, without contacting your club.
Why this matters to your participants
A PDF in a Drive folder proves nothing. A certificate that verifies against an on-chain hash is the difference between a claim on a résumé and a fact.
Numbers while it is still happening
The organizer dashboard shows registrations as they arrive, ticket revenue, and attendance against registrations. You can see the drop-off between the people who signed up and the people who walked in, which is the one number sponsors and faculty always ask for.
What it does not do
We are honest about the boundary: ScrollConnect is the platform, not the organizer. Schedules, venues, eligibility rules, judging and refunds are your club's call and your club's responsibility. We handle discovery, registration, collection, check-in and credentials.
